SOUTHERN POVERTY LAW CENTER
The SPLC partners with communities to fight for racial justice and advance the human rights of all people. Activist co-hosted the SPLC’s 51st Anniversary event this year, and we are currently producing a few to-be-announced television projects for this organization!
SANDY HOOK PROMISE
Sandy Hook Promise is a national nonprofit organization founded and led by several family members whose loved ones were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012. Activist and Michael Franti hosted a 10-year benefit this past October.
DO IT FOR THE LOVE
The mission of the organization, which was founded by Michael Franti and his wife, Sara, is to inspire hope and healing through the power of music by supporting clinical and community-based music therapy, evidence-based research, and providing live music experiences.
SOUND FUTURE
In close partnership with The Lumineers, Sound Future combines global-scale tech leadership, hard-earned insider knowledge of the entertainment industry, and storytelling prowess to shift the environmental impact of the live event industry from positive intent to measurable change.
CAMP SOUTHERN GROUND
Activist is a long time supporter of Camp Southern Ground, which hosts inclusive, residential camps for children with neurodevelopmental differences, underserved kids, and kids from military families. The rest of the year, Camp Southern Ground is dedicated to supporting post-9/11 veterans.
GIVEPOWER
One of Dead & Company’s REVERB initiatives is to support this organization, which creates access to clean water in water-scarce regions around the world. GivePower’s goal is to provide clean water through clean energy.
